Weekly wrap up ♥

Hello my friends! Can you believe it's Friday again already?  Its currently Friday evening and I'm sitting at my computer.  I've just made a cup of tea and right after I finish this post I'm headed straight for the couch.  It's been a long week!
Today Rob went with John on a school field trip to an amusement park in New Hampshire.  They left at 10 am this morning and haven't gotten back yet.  The last text I got about a half hour ago said they were just loading the bus.  I imagine John will probably sleep till noon tomorrow.
My husband is a saint, because I know I would never have been able to last that long : )
Anyway, while I wait for them, here's a little peek into the past week....

June is in full bloom (on my deck anyway)

The best breakfast I had all week.  French toast with bananas and blueberries.

Monday was Memorial Day.  It was rainy and cold so we didn't go to any parades.
I did make s'mores brownies though!  What better way to celebrate the kick off of summer ♥

And this pasta salad! YUM
My kitchen in the morning light.

This week brought our first trip to Dairy Queen! It's John's favorite!

We met some friends and saw the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie.  We got to the theater a half hour early to get tickets.  It was a good thing because it got very crowded.
For the record, I didn't really love it. John and I both agreed we like the original cast better. (but that's just us : )

Killing time before the movie started.

I'm back on a smoothie kick.  I love my Magic Bullet!  This one is made with frozen bananas, blueberries, and peach yogurt.  It was sooo good!

Me at work this week.....every. day.

I'm obsessed with ChapStick.  This is my new favorite.  Pink Grapefruit.  Amazing!
(also that day it matched my

Snapchatting about my cookie addiction!

The first day of June.  My peonies are beginning to open.

Last week some of you asked me about my watercolors.  Here is the palate and pad that I've been using.  The brand is Artist's Loft and the paints are in pastels.  I got them both on sale at Michaels for $5 each!  Thank you for all your words of encouragement.  I am enjoying my new hobby.
It's fun to try something new once in a while ♥

And then there's this.... a little reminder to my myself to remember to breathe.
It does wonders ♥
Well, Rob just called and said the bus is back at school (it's 9pm!) They are on their way home.  Better get my spot on the couch.  These guys are gonna crash!
Have a wonderful weekend!
