It seems like only yesterday John was preparing for his first communion in second grade. Where did the time go? (can you find him??....back row, last one on the right : )
On Friday night we celebrated his 8th grade graduation. Most of the kids in the class have been together since preschool. It was a wonderful ceremony. Very exciting and bittersweet at the same time. They will all go on now to different schools and in different directions, but they will have their memories of St. Francis Xavier School to take with them.
John with is principal, Mr. Murphy.
And friends!
This was a very challenging school year for everyone. Luckily John's class was able to have a full year of in person learning. It was different, difficult at times, but certainly a school year we will never forget.
The next day we celebrated with a well deserved beach day and a yummy dinner at the 99. His choice!
It was fun weekend and I'm still exhausted (mentally & physically : )
In the blink of an eye..... 😢
Now on to high school! But first....summer vacation!!!
Have a great day friends!
Byeeeee! xoxo
Congrats to your son! My daughter graduated from 8th grade 2 weeks ago but they didn't do a ceremony or anything. Now she is taking her 1st high school class...summer gym. We are prepping for her Confirmation on Wednesday night. Seems like just yesterday she was a baby! Have a good week!
