Hello Friends! Happy Tuesday! ♥
I want to send a BIG thank you to my friends who commented on my post about John not going to traditional college. Your kind words and comments made me feel like we aren't alone in this decision. It happens more than you think these days, but people rarely talk about. People automatically assume failure if someone doesn't have a college degree and that's just not the case.
Thank you for your support.
As parents we just want what's best for our kids and that's different for everyone.

In other news...♥
Today was another beautiful fall day. It was sunny and blustery. Leaves were flying everywhere!
It's hard to believe that only 15 minutes down the road from our house is this beautiful beach, where it doesn't look like fall at all. On Sunday Rob and I took a walk down here. It's so nice during the off season. The crowds are gone and it's so peaceful.
I've been coming to this beach my entire life and I've never loved it more than I do now.
I find it's a perfect spot to escape to and embrace the quiet (especially when the world seems overly loud right now...)
I hate the heat in July & August. I hate the crowds. I hate finding parking (and paying through the nose for it!)
But in October there is none of that. It's cool and you can actually feel the ocean air going into your lungs when you take a deep breath in (I love that in January!).
There are people walking, all bundled up with coffees or hot chocolates, and there's always dogs which is nice too. Also, no crowds and plenty of parking : )
The ocean and sky were like glass on Sunday.
We walked and talked and then we came home and it was still fall 🍁
That's what I call the best of both worlds.
Have a cozy evening friends! xx
Such pretty pictures! I would love a beach day ! It is such a peaceful place. Enjoy your evening, I’m hoping my Yankees get a win tonight : )
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day to me! I too, love the Ocean - especially in the cooler months! Absolutely love the sounds of the waves and seagulls! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect beach scenario! No people, cool weather, hot coffee in hand...that's my kind of day at the beach :)
ReplyDeleteHello Danielle. Awww your beach pictures are beautiful! And you are so fortunate to live near the coast. I prefer the beach this time of year over the summer months. I even like it during winter. Breathe in some sea air for me next time! It's the best!
ReplyDeleteJohn is making a wise decision by not going to a traditional college. So many college-aged kids I know are doing the exact same thing. So many of them are learning a trade or going to a community college for two years. It makes so much sense to me. Have a cozy evening!
That beach looks so beautiful and peaceful! There is something about water that I think calms the soul and allows the heart and mind to just "be". And blessings to John and all he decides to pursue! Couldn't agree more that traditional college isn't for everyone and there are so many ways to learn in this life and become the people we're meant to be! 🙏🏻💗
ReplyDeleteDonation Benefits Giveaways
ReplyDeleteI hope this message finds you in good health. I am pleased to extend to you an offer of a personal donation in the amount of €1,500,000.00 intended to support your individual growth and the pursuit of your goals. This grant is made with confidence in your integrity, talent, and the potential I see in your future contributions. However, in the spirit of shared responsibility and sustainable progress, I would like to make this gift conditional upon one important obligation: that you commit to using a portion of your time, skills, or resources to directly benefit your community within the next 12 months. This could take many forms—organizing a community workshop, mentoring youth in your area, launching a neighborhood improvement initiative, or even creating a public awareness campaign around a cause you’re passionate about. The format is flexible, but the intent is firm: that your personal gain should ripple outward and uplift others. To ensure transparency and shared commitment, I kindly ask that you provide a short written outline of how you intend to fulfill this obligation within 60 days of accepting the Donation. I will not require formal reporting beyond that, but I do trust you will carry it out in good faith. It is my belief that when support is given with mutual accountability, its impact multiplies. I look forward to seeing both your journey and the positive effect your actions will have on others. If you are interested in my donation, contact me for more information.
With respect and encouragement. Kindly write to my official Email: heisterbeate06@gmail.com
