Weekend plans 🍁

Hello Friends! 🖤

We have arrived at the end of the week. Today was a beautiful fall Friday. I worked for most of it, but I was able to sit out on my back porch for a bit this afternoon and sip a coffee while taking in the foliage. That's all I needed and it was lovely.

Nothing exciting going on this weekend and that's just the way I like it. I love a slow, boring weekend. It's honestly my favorite thing! (I'm not even kidding :)

Tomorrow John has a driving hour in the morning and then the three of us are going to our favorite coffee shop. Later in the afternoon/evening John is going to something called "screamfest" which sounds terrifying to me, but he and his friends are awfully excited about it. It's a haunted amusement park...

Rob and I have some projects and chores to get done around the house. I'm planning a roast chicken for dinner and I'd like to make a fall-ish dessert (that I haven't decided on yet).

We'll go to mass Sunday morning before breakfast. John is working at the theater in the afternoon, so I'll probably drag Rob to Walmart with me to get Halloween candy, before settling in for a cozy day of football watching, reading my book, and maybe a nap :)  Sunday night I'll catch up on blog reading and get ready for the new week.

It's almost Halloween! 🎃

And I think that's all the excitement I can cram into one weekend...lol

Whatever your plans, I hope you have a cozy October weekend!

Xx

(Thank you all for following along with my daily ramblings. I'm enjoying posting every day!)

  1. I'm enjoying your daily posts :) It inspires me to write more and that always brings me joy. I'm headed to a baby shower for my DIL today. We will be celebrating two new grandchildren this December! We have 1 girl and 1 boy coming just weeks apart! This Millie is getting a little nervous :) That will make 7 grandkids for David and I. I hope you have a great weekend and thank you for getting back to me on IG. I appreciate the info.

  4. I'm enjoying your daily posts too! ;) I'm not a homebody and during the week I invent things to keep myself out and about but now that my kids are older (one away at college) I LOVE a weekend with no plans! The fall dessert I've pinned but not yet made is the Glazed Honeycrisp Apple Fritter cake from halfbakedharvest.com! This week for sure

  5. Hello my Lovely! Playing catch up since the trip. :)
Sounds like you must have had a very lovely weekend. It's been chilly since we've gotten back and I'm getting my cozy on too. I have a homemade slow cooker spaghetti meat sauce going. I'm about to go belated bday shopping with my Mom (our tradition every year) and we'll be listening to Christmas music in the car the whole day (also tradition!) Lol Wishing you blessings on the rest of your week. xo

  7. Donation Benefits Giveaways

I hope this message finds you in good health. I am pleased to extend to you an offer of a personal donation in the amount of €1,500,000.00 intended to support your individual growth and the pursuit of your goals. This grant is made with confidence in your integrity, talent, and the potential I see in your future contributions. However, in the spirit of shared responsibility and sustainable progress, I would like to make this gift conditional upon one important obligation: that you commit to using a portion of your time, skills, or resources to directly benefit your community within the next 12 months. This could take many forms—organizing a community workshop, mentoring youth in your area, launching a neighborhood improvement initiative, or even creating a public awareness campaign around a cause you’re passionate about. The format is flexible, but the intent is firm: that your personal gain should ripple outward and uplift others. To ensure transparency and shared commitment, I kindly ask that you provide a short written outline of how you intend to fulfill this obligation within 60 days of accepting the Donation. I will not require formal reporting beyond that, but I do trust you will carry it out in good faith. It is my belief that when support is given with mutual accountability, its impact multiplies. I look forward to seeing both your journey and the positive effect your actions will have on others. If you are interested in my donation, contact me for more information.
With respect and encouragement. Kindly write to my official Email:heisterbeate06@gmail.com
