What I'm currently loving in December ~

Hello Everyone!  I just looked at my calendar and realized that Christmas Day is exactly 2 weeks from today!  It's coming at a rapid pace!

Today I wanted to share with you a few random things that I am loving right now.  Aside from all the holiday songs and TV specials, cards coming in the mail, and cozy nights on the couch, here's what I'm obsessed with:

December has been cold and frosty.  The air is so clean.

The pretty view is my reward for being freezing.

Some mornings it's frozen over and some mornings it looks likes this.

Cute and festive to go cups for work : )

Holiday soaps from Bath & Body Works are my weakness!

Also, speaking of Bath & Body, I picked up a new wallflower plug in the last time I was there.  I just loved this cute little snowflake.  The scent I picked is balsam fir. It's so nice because we have a fake tree and this smells exactly like the real trees of my childhood : )

Hot chocolate with cinnamon on top...the best!

The festive decorations everywhere make me happy!

Ok, I know this is controversial but I love eggnog and I'm not afraid to admit it! Lol~
(also, a little splash in coffee is quite yummy...just saying)

The winter always does a mean job on my nails. They are so brittle! I just started using this Sally Hansen nail hardener a few weeks ago and so far I love it!  I put one coat on everyday and my nails are feeling  healthy and strong!  I'm going to keep at it because my goal is to have pretty nails for Christmas.

I just have to tell you how much I am loving these facial wipes from Aveeno! They take all my makeup off (including mascara!) and leave my skin feeling so clean and moisturized!
I initially bought them for when we went to Disney last month and I've been using them ever since.  They make my skin feel so soft at the end of the day, when normally this weather would leave my skin very dry. They are amazing!  I highly recommend!

And this, because you are never too old to stop believing!!! Just look at that smile :)

I also want you guys to know that starting on Thursday I'll be participating in my friend Madison's 12 Days of Christmas blog series. I did it last year and it was so much fun!  For the 12 days leading up to Christmas eve we'll be posting everyday, sharing something Christmassy - weather it be a recipe, tradition, activity, outfit, or anything that gives us all the feels of the holiday season.  I'm super excited!

And, if you follow me on Instagram you'll see I'm in the middle of a 25 Days of Christmas photo challenge where I post a Christmas photo everyday related to a specific topic.

Yikes! I've got a lot of days going on!! Haha! But it's fun and brings us all together and it's a way for us to celebrate the season as a community and as friends, and I really love that!

So I'll be back on Thursday to begin the 12 Days of Christmas!  See you then! xoxo

  1. Thanks for all the great tips, Danielle, and for a little peak at New England shopping dressed up for Christmas! . I'll pop in now and then for your 12 days of Christmas! I'm busy making Maple-Glazed Walnuts -- to die for! Easy: 4 c. walnuts; 2/3 c. maple syrup 1/4 t. pumpkin pie spice; 1/2 t. cinnamon and 1/2 t. salt. Heat skillet to hot; put everything in skillet; stir continuously about 5 min. till liquid about gone. Done!! Pour into Pyrex dish to cool. Then break in pieces and store in zip lock bags! Knew you'd like this one!! Merry Christmas! Jane xo
